The 43MM lens for the Mamiya 7 is exceptional. However, I have both that lens and the Pentax 45MM for the 67, and I find the 45MM is way easier to use effectively than the Mamiya 43MM because you can view the perspective effect and compose through the viewfinder with the Pentax. I find it very difficult to use rangefinder cameras like the Mamiya 7 with lenses outside the "normal" range(e.g., the 65 and the 80). I even have the supplemental viewfinders for the 43 and the 150 for the Mamiya, and they do not appreciably help.

Thanks, Bob, for the offer. Unfortunately, I was leaving for Maine shortly after I posted and went ahead and purchased the Laird Rain Hood. I did not get a chance to use it as the winds were just too high to bother trying to shoot on Sunday in the rain.

Has anyone come across a waterproof cover that will fit the Pentax
67II and a lens up to the 300MM(and ideally works well out in the field)?
Thanks.

Can anyone in the area comment on the progression and intensity of
the fall foliage in and around the area of Zion National Park this
fall? I was there in late October/early Nov. last year and the
foliage change seemed quite late.
