  1. Hello Bob,

    Thanks for your reply.

The WB was set to auto.

Time of day was 4:00 pm

I shot both RAW and Jpeg.

This issue that I have is that the flower is completely RED, with no yellow in it,

but the camera interrupted yellow color from the sun shining on the front portion of the flower.

    Regards,

    Steve

  2. Hello I have Adobe Photoshop CS. I purchased additional software to setup my

own local color management between my camera, monitor, printer and scanner.

I get great results when I print my own pictures. My problem is that I do NOT

have good results when I send my pictures off to be printed else where. Is

there any way I can embed my color profile into these photo images so that the

printing company will actually print the photos with the colors that I want?

Kind of a way to force my proofs into their system before printing the photos?

    Thanks for you help.

    Regards,

    Steve

  3. I am new to the world of Macro photography.

I have taken a about one hundred shots with this lens setup all

Canon lenses (Macro 180 mm f/3.5 and 1.4 II magnifier and a 25mm II

extender tube). I had the extender tube mounted on the camera body,

then the 1.4 magnifier, then the 180mm lens. Please look at this

picture of simple table salt placed on a piece of pastel paper.

Many of my shots like this one seem to have a small window (line) of

cleanness around the center of the shot, but if has a DOF on the top

and bottom of the shot (see the picture here). Can anyone please

explain to me why this might be occurring.

    Thank in advance,

  4. I recently purchased a new Canon20d camera and many new L lenses.

I am getting ready to do a little traveling but am wondering what

the best approach is for me to insure my photographic equipment

against damage or theft. I know that I can get some additional home

owners insurance coverage, but wondered if there was a better option?

  5. I am having trouble printing consistent pictures on my printer.

I have modified some raw files which contain fall foliage.

The images look great on my monitor. I then saved them as TIFF and

JPEG files and printed each file type. The printed copies are much

darker than the saved images. Can anyone help me understand what I

need to do to get WYSIWYG type printed copies.
