Beach, sunset, big-rock-in-foreground... pretty.
-
It's a scan of the neg (on a CoolScan II) -- off to try getting a decent print this afternoon :).
-
Wow, I hope a large print of this exists behind glass on a wall.

No filtration (or postprocessing). It is terribly nice to get an exposure just-so :).

:) Lots of Curves has happened to this picture -- the original doesn't look quite nearly so interesting. The sky that looks stormy was in fact almost clear -- it was a beautiful day.

Owopan 125 (FP4+) at 225 in Promicrol, Nikon F3, 50/2. Unmanipulated.

From the Student Union sabbatical elections of a month ago. Does the
composition work for you?
-
Wow, a balm for the eyes. Beautifully done.

Unsure on this. The glare in the poster I find ugly, and I don't know
whether the side-by-side images add to each other or subtract (I'd
choose the right one, if there had to be one). But: I don't know, a
different part of me likes it, thinks it captures something of the
guy. So: to the critique forum with it!

A warm portrait, I like it.

Kewl. How wide is that lens, by the bye?
-
Nicely done, but the bottom right hand region looks rather lost beneath the fountain. Impressive as a print though I am sure.

Neato, not sure about the building in the top left though.
-
I like it.
(Incidentally, this was taken mid to late April, 2004? I was in Rome at the same time. Alas for me that none of my colour Vatican photos are good enough to show.)

Gorgeous, it could be huge and industrial ducts or microscopic and industrious bacteria. A pleasure to behold.

Very competent, though sharpened beyond my (personal) preference.

Do you think the composition works? I worry that the cat is too dark a
space in the corner...
-
Very strong, utterly timeless. A 4 by 5 inch paper negative? Does it contact-print well?
-
The train stopped here for a while.
-
A good image, strong.
-
Classy, nicely done.

I guess my only criticism of this is that the foreground pales in comparison to the sky -- it is an anticlimax to look from the top to the bottom.
