You can't, due to the fact that both the M7 and the M6 TTL are slightly taller than the other M's to accomodate for TTL metering, and thus there's not enough height for the magnifying prism be mounted. It can be used though to all the other M's (barring the M5)with an LTM to M adapter.

Raid, you bought a beautiful lens. I have the same Summicron of 1954 vintage mounted on an M3 and the results never cease to astound me. And the quality of craftsmanship is to die for to boot. This was taken with this lens a few days ago on Fuji 100 print film.<div></div>

Ed is right. And Al, has it occured to you that in these days long before computers telegraphy was the name of the game? Much more practical to transmit 5-letter codes. At any rate, those codes have a pizazz sorely missing today. Just my 2 cents.<div></div>

Brian, I think I've located a member of the 'script mafia'. This guy became member on Feb 12, has no uploaded pics (of course) and so far has rated 227 photos on this site, with average ratings of 4.54 for Aesthetics and 4.15 for Originality, the ratings appearing 'normal', with a tendency to thrash otherwise highly rated photos. The ratings went to 205 distinct photographers. The name is at your disposal should you wish to investigate (or send the goon squad)...lol
