Thank you for these comments - sometimes you can get too close to an image and having a fresh prespective helps.

Milo, you are right about the work that was not needed - her skin is flawless (helped by very expensive cleansing routine!).

This is one of a series of shots that she wanted for her drama school applications.

Cracking image this Steve. Not only the colours but the compostion with the pair leaning in to the shot. Well done on such a great set of pics.

Thanks for the comments - they are much appreciated.

Alex - decided not to renew my membership subscription, mainly due to the reasons Martin pointed out about low scorers. The site was very useful for feedback, especially as I was learning about portrait photos. I just don't care for these low scores without some form of comment - and in the year i've been on don't think the changes to the site have helped.

Have to agree with John, plus it appears the lens hood is imposing on to the picture at the corners. I also find the hair covering one eye distracting - for me its what connects the picture to the viewer.
