    I got this shot with my Iphone while shopping a few weeks ago. I

    am only posting it to show what you can do with a 3.85mm lens at

    2.8. I was fairly surprised at the quality of the camera and the wide

    angle lens.

    Giuseppe - Beautiful! I have to echo all of the above comments. I really like the way you were able to blend the white of the flower's petal into the black background. Congratulations on such a beautiful shot!

    Steven - You stated that you were 'trying and learning new things'. As such, I think that this is a great image. Great compositon and DOF. Personally, I don't see the frame as distracting. Especially since that is what you created to be part of the overall picture. You have a very good start. Keep it up!
