  1. All and all, you have done well for your first tries in Large format. I myself, started with a 5x7 camera and never looked back. Your composition is not bad at all, and you did well with the slow shutter speed, giving movement to the stream. The tones look good, I would dodge very very lightly in the dense trees off to the right to bring out a bit more detail, but be careful not to hit the tree in the foreground.

    Nice work.

Another great shot. I love her curves. The lightness at the top of the image distracts me though. I would fee more drawn in with a full black background.

Great photo. Originality is wonderful. It is amazing how a shot can go from "explicit" (by some standards) to artistic, by a simple placement of the models hand.

Lighting and form are done well also.

The only problem that I find, is that it seems to me that the angle is slightly off center. Had you or the model moved just a bit you would have perfection. But you still get a 7/7 in my book. Nice job.

  2. Nice job Robert. Holgas are great cameras. Try shooting with Tri-X 320 rather than the 400. It tends to give a bit more contrast and a little more of a punch to Holga photos.

Try some portraiture with it. Just ask some random people to stop for a sec and look at the camera.

A nice shot, although, I feel the backdrop is a bit much. It is nice to see more nude portraiture these days rather than the overdone figure study.
