You can always open it up to 2.8 for focusing, then stop it down to your desired exposure.

I am in the market for a wide angle zoom. I was decided on a 17-40

Canon, when the new Tamron 17-35 2.8-4 Di lens caught my eye. It is,

or cousre, digitaly corrected- which would probably be a bonus for

my DSLR. If you can tell me any reasons why I should not purchase

this lens, please reply.
