Firts experience with digital SLR Macro, any suggestions on how to
improve the shot?
-
The subject line is from a poem of the Rainer-Maria Rilke, I found
this caroussel very poetic...
-
this is peaty water, the brown colour comes from the peat further upstream, it is also what is supposed to give highland malt whiskies the little extra...
-
This was in a side valley near Ullapool
-
not a typical autumn shot but autumn it was nevertheless...
-
I think there is a misunderstanding here, the grass was moving the lighthouse is sharp...

Please also have a look at the folder

Please, all lighthouse-fans, could you take a look and also make
suggestions about good locations?

Alberto - no houses in this one, that's a rocky promontory...

Too dark for the detail, I'm afraid. Thanks for the comments!

The off-centre presentation would have worked better if the space had been to the right, this way it looks cut. I'm not so sure about the net around the head, the way it is closed has crime connotations for me rather than erotic ones

A nice feel but two nits I have with the image, #1 I don't like the fact that the foot is cut off, including it would have given a more complete impression; #2 the face is too dark, some kind of reflector or indirect light would have helped to keep the overall tonality even. Otherwise a very moody and sexy shot

Loved the blue and the yellow here - you too?

One of my Scotland shots - love the country, lived there and ask any
Scotland-lover - or Scot - to critique this one - near Mallaig - and
have a look at my Scotland portfolio. Thanks for your efforts, Adam

Taken a few years back I don't think I managed anything better yet

The pose makes her look fat and she looks very uncomfortable. Get a lot closer, concentrate on the face, upper body or full body but not more. Check out some of the other images with models and keep trying!!

I quite like you all to have a look at this and tell me what you'd
have done differently!

As these birds are my absolute favorites my congratulations on a great image. you certainly make a case for IS lenses, unfortunately I will have to wait for the independents as I own a pentax system
