Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone might have thoughts on a good tripod/head to use
with a Mamiya RZ 67. With the big lenese I have the maximun weight would be no
more than 14 lbs. The camera is primarily used for landscape photography at
shutter speeds anywhere from 1/2 to 1/60 of a second. I would also like the
tripod to incorporate a reliable spirit level as well. I use the double,
mirror up cable release as well.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks Bill C, I think that you are on to something. This sounds like the advice I was looking for. By lens flare I mean the hexagonal spots on the film which has been slightly more exposed to light. Do you suggest a .9 ND grad. I use Tiffen glass ND filters.

Thanks for all of the advice! As of now I am trying to do it with a single exposure and I have seen others work that was single exposure and exceptional. Their images had no lens flare a properly exposed sky and the sun was in the upper half of the image. I am shooting Velvia film with an RZ 67 and a 75mm pc lens.
Cheers,
Mike

Hello Everyone,
I am a landscape photographer and am having trouble getting proper exposures
when shooting into the sun. I tend to get a lot of lens flare and have trouble
balancing the exposure of the sky (preferable 2/3 stop more than 17%) with
the expoure of the landscape. I have used ND grads with limited success. Does
anyone have any tips that they might suggest to help solve this problem.
Thanks

Hello,
I am a professional photographer who is geting more into distant location
interior work. My current work is primarily landscape with natural lighting.
Can anyone offer suggestions on what would be the ideal digital photography
and lighting set up that would offer me the maximum lighting options with the
minimum amount of weight. I currently have an RZ 67 with 50, 75 PC, 110 and
180mm Z lens, two strobes, two soft boxes, one umbrella, two light stands. I
have not used light modifiers yet and am interested to now how I might be able
to use those as well. I am considering going to a Canon 1Ds MK 2.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Everyone,
I am looking for dealers in Tokyo (or close by) that might offer for
sale a new Fuji GX 617 camera with the 105 mm, the 180mm and the
300m lenses. Any help woulf be greatly appreciated.

shots like this could really benefit from a blue/yellow or a blue/gold polarizing filter. the light here is too harsh, you might try in either very early or very late light as it is much warmer (more yellow) and the shadows add contrast to the image.
