1.
I have both D300 with 70-200 VR ,105 AFS-VR, 17-55 AFS f/2.8 and 5D MK II with 17-40 f/4and 70-200 IS F/4. Both are great in handling. There is no difference in the image quality except for the greater resolution in 5D MK II . Even when you crop 100 % you will get sharp images in Canon which may not be the case for Nikon D300. Other wise both are great system. Canon , no pain after long shoot but for nikon my ankle pains.

 2.
I am having both Nikon and Canon (D300 and 5D MK II) . Both are great camera. I just got 5DMKII because I like the Canon color reproduction and color separation which I was not able to get it from Nikon. May be I am not that much expert in post processing. Canon Lens is much cheaper and wide range . Hadling wise both are fentastic. Canon you can handle all the day. But Nikon with 70-200 AF-s Vr and D300 is too heavy to carry around . Keep Canon also . For CLS of Nikon buy one Cactus Wireless trigger and use Nikon Falsh. Both gives fentastic results , if processed properly.

 3.
I am a Nikon user for the last 15 years. Just I want to try the Canon . Any body using both the gear can clarify this please. I have posted the same in Canon forum also.
I got 5 D MK II , a week back. The sync speed of 1/200 is not working in studio (with Strobes triggerd with Radio trigger) I got balck stripes about 3 mm in the bottom of the images. Why , I can't under stand. It works fine with shtter speed of 1/160 . But Why The Canon is like this? Any one has the similar problem.?

 5.
Hi Sally
First I had D70 with 18-70 mm lens. It is ,no doubt, is wonderful camera and the lens 18-70 is great lens except at 18mm there will be dark area at the corner of the images , which ia called vignetting. After two years of learning from D70 , Ihave upgraded to D200 and after two years of prcticing in D200 , I have purchased D300 . I have both D200 and D 300 . In terms of picture quality and sharpness D300 is better than D200 and D200 is better than D70 . So prctice in D70 and get good lens instead of investing in Camera Body. But it is better to buy FX lens instaed of DX lens as you will be going to have full frame after two or three years if money is a constraint. So shoot and shoot and learn from D70 and by that time you will come to know whcih one id better for you.

 6.
Dear Guys

I am a Nikon user with D300 and D200 with all fast and prime lens . I always find that the color reproduction looks more natural in Canon images (after Processing or conversion from RAW) than Nikon. Nikon gives a a little saturated colors even in NORMAL settings and in the studio situations I find that there is a yellow color cast in Nikon images . My question is , is this can be corrected in the post processing either with CS3 or 4 or NX2 ? Can it be possible that the color reproduction can be made identical for the both NIKON and CANON images after post processing?
Thanks in advance for your advice please.

 7.
Dear Guys
I am currently using D300 and D200 (Nikon ) . Because of 21.3MP I am thinking of going for the Canon 5D MK II . I am not going to make more than 24X36 prints. I have Nikon glasses and other accessories. In what way I will get better image (interms of sharpness and color reproduction) in shifting to Canon. ? One thing I am sure is the price advantage of Canon but apart from price what will I gain interms of image quality , ease of Handling / use weather/dust sealing etc..? Thanks for your kind advice and suggesstion please.

 8.
Dear Guys

How effective is the EXPODISC which is being used to set the correct white balance? Is it really needed when you shoot in RAW mode. Your advice will be much appreciated . Thanks in advance.
