  1. Dear Linda, I've been in Namibia and Tanzania, and I have friends which have been in Botswana, South Africa and Kenia.

    I can say that Botswana is the wildest, rich of animals, very expensive and you don't need a longer focal than 300mm. Namibia is beautiful for the landscapes, but is not the right land for the animals. Both are perfect in August.

    Tanzania has two parks which are really fantastic like the Serengeti (the central area) and the Ngoro Ngoro, but I don't like it too much because (like the Kenia) is a bit touristic (too much for my taste). South Africa is a perfect place for animals (in particular in the private reserves), elegant not very wild, but with a good athmosfere. Most of all I suggest you the tented camps: this is the right way to visit Africa. Ciao
