.One of the men i work with at the soup kitchen. Dan has been making

breakfast for the homeless going on 18 years. An expert in the

kitchen, the entire first year he used to get angry with me when i

messed up on the grill: for the best i suppose.

.and still they talk of the gold-paved roads, even while the shit

piles the sidewalks.

.A friend that lives across from the soup kitchen i volunteer at. His

family used to take care of the church/kitchen but have since moved

out into a place of their own.

great shot. i wish the sky had just a little more blue to it though. it would go perfectly with the yellow-orange of the sand.

beautiful picture, but like others have said, the nude doesn't really work in this one. same shape yes, but the 'kink' in the waist and also the elbow pointed upward do not allow the nude to flow in the same way the vase does.

ahh good idea. i really do need to crop this image. now i usually have a thick white border with most of my photos (because they are fitted with solid white mattes for galleries etc). i should probably use either that or a thick black on this one. thank you for the comments :)

i really do not like this photo much. the glow around the frog is a bit distracting and the entire picture just seems too post-processed. also, as stated above, the frog/scene is very flat and without much going on; just a picture of a frog sitting. i really do not understand the high ratings of obviously photoshopped photos.

 

however...some of the photos in your gallery are quite good. congrats.

wow. this shot is amazing. ive tried photos like this but could never make it work as well as it does here. great job.

how is this photo getting such high ratings? the sky looks pretty bad noise wise. Also, though it may be a strong point for some, the ghostly/rainbow image of the people does not add anything imo.

 

you have a great portfolio, im just not a fan of this shot.

what a photograph. i once witnessed a similar situation, two years ago just at the start of my photographic career. a drunk man carrying an even more drunk man with elephantitus (sp?) of the testicles. it was such a sad sight but so telling of our society. amazing job.
