The truth shall set you free. As for a dual card camera how much more does one cost than the amount that you are going to
refund. It is worth the investment. FYI i use little post it dots when i take a card out of the camera i put a dot on it and don't take
it off until i format the card after i have done everything else everyone has said to do. Good Luck hang in there and all that. I
promise you are not likely to do it again.

I would never put a filter on the front of an L lens. You spent all that money for an L and then
put something in front of it Why? Just don't scratch it.. in 40 years i have never scratched a
lens.

I hope the link works, this was taken with a 25mm ext tube and 24-105 why spend the
money on a macro lens ext tube are cheaper and can be used with any lens

I am a simple guy so i handle the crop factor like this. No matter which lens that i use on my
mk3n i find what i see in the viewfinder is the pic that i get. Now i am sorry if that sounds
snooty, and i am not a great Photographer by any means but i am about to turn 60 and life is
getting shorter al the time. Just go out and take pictures. Don't worry what the crop factor on
a pinhole camera is. As i am writting this i know that is probly the wrong thing to say but
what the heck. I am going to post it anyway and i will take the heat> please take it in the
spirit that it is ment.

I bought one about three months ago and just love it. But Dan is right to much for street
photo's unless your hiding.I am so used to using a zoom 35-350 i had to force myself to just
take the 135 with me and shoot all day to learn how to look at things again. With the zoom i
did not always think about comp. i could handle it in post but with the 135 you need to pay
attn.

Just bought a MacBook from apple refurbished site. Installed Photoshop works fine no
emulator that i know of and it is and Intel Mac. Paid 1099.00 running at 2ghz with 512 ram
I did think that the 13 inch screen might be to small but i mostly use it for in field work
downloading cards and discarding the pics that i don't want. 60 Gig hard dirve which is
plenty... i don't store anything on it i write dvd's and it fast. i have purchased 2gig of ram but
have not yet installed it....I belive this was a good choice for field work...
Good Luck

My walk around camera is a 10D with a Canon 28-200 3.5. I think its a good all around
lens. Gives you about a normal 35 lens and you gets some telephoto also.

I have 600Gb of external hard drive (3x200 firewire). All .raw files converted to .dng and
stored on CD or DVD with contact sheet showing every photo of each off site. No photos
on internal hard drive in a pinch i can grab the hard drives and run of course al of my
music will be gone.

All of my photos are titled Michael Mays. Now that my wife wants to post some of her
photographs, we would prefer to have a joint account. Can the photo's, ratings and
critiques be tranferred from my old account to our joint account? If not, is there a way to
update the exisitng account to reflect both our names?
Thanks for your assistance. By the way we LOVE Photo.net. Brilliant!!

Well i shoot pretty much with two lenses a conon 28-135 and 35-350
the 35-350 is a little heavy but its the best lens i have ever used i shot mostly action fast iso so its works really well of course its about 1500.00 and no IS but i have never found that a problem.

As far as black and white goes you get more information with color and can do more with it you can alway take the color out but can't put it in.....i leave the paramerters in the middle. You can mess with them if you want and see how the pics turn out. Also i shoot jpegs for action (it writes faster and raw for still life and landscapes and such....i do everthing i ps..
p.s. whats an owners manual
-
The Raw file are your negs..the jpegs are your prints.. you cant do much with a print, but you can process a neg anyway want..so save them i have a 200gb external hard drive i store them all on..the .thm is just the thumbnail that loads to view the raw file dont get rid of it save it with the raw.....

ressellerratings.com it's the best but you have to take it with a grain of salt there are alot of very unsatisfied reviews you have to read them all.

I am about ready to buy a Mark II but i shoot action i need the 8.5 fps.I dont think you need that for weddings and landscapes unless you can catch someone running from the alter.
