    Providence

          1

This was shot on a rainy day in Providence, RI through the dirty windshield of a rental

car, but the picture still managed to be pretty sharp. I shot this with a Nikon D70, and

made it black and white in photoshop. I am pretty new to converting color images to

black and white using the channel mixer, so any tips would be appreciated.

    Fisheye

          2

This is a shot of my buddy sliding a curved handrail at my school. The fisheye is

kinda a cop-out since even bad shots look decent, but I am a sucker for it. Nikon FE

    w/MD-11, Nikkor 28mm f/3.5, Phoenix .25x fisheye converter, shot on Ilford FP4.

My suggestion would be to try tweaking the colors in Photoshop, it looks like you need to up the saturation and mess with the color balance a little bit. Otherwise, it's a great shot.

    Drops

          5

This was for my advanced photo final project, which was a four image series with a

common theme. My theme was studio flash and photoshop image combination. The

drops were shot with a Nikkor macro lens, and the rest were shot with a Nikkor

50mm normal lens, all shot on Fuji Acros ISO 100. Any comments or critiques would

    be greatly appreciated.

    Night Bridge

          3

A night shot on Ilford FP4, printed on Ilford paper and scanned (badly...). The

shadows were made by three different lights on the grates around a bridge to a power

    plant. Any suggestions or critiques?

    Highlands Towers

Sometimes you get lucky... and this was one of those shots, because I didn't really

know what I was doing back when i took this shot. The negative had seen better days

when I scanned it, so there is a little dust still visible here and there. Any comments

    or critiques would be appreciated.

    On a Wall

          2

This is from one of my first rolls of night photos, and I feel like I am just scratching

the surface of a really cool subject. I like the rich tones and gradations on the wall, as

well as the motion blurred person on the glowing edge of the wall. Shot with Ilford

FP4 with a 15sec.@f5.6 exposure (I think). I am still shooting rolls of night photos, so

any suggestions or tips would be great. Thanks

    Elliott's Arm

I like how the plane of focus turned out on this one, and the richness of the tones. A

Zone System print shot on Ilford FP4 and printed on Ilford paper. Any suggestions or

    critiques would be greatly appreciated.
