But a little over-sharpened (unsharp mask?) for my tastes - in my opinion it would look better a touch softer.

Thanks again Drew! I think I could maybe have put the hole a little more towards the left of the frame to get a slightly more pleasing effect directly on the 'rule of thirds' line

I actually added the more reddy/orange tone after shooting as I thought it gave a more pleasing result but I agree it looks little un-natural.

I didn't shoot in raw and the lamp-post is both a result of me shooting a little off horizontal and the post leaning slightly!

I did use a flash and bounced it off the (white ceiling) and the floor was a sort of grey/green colour. Will have to try and tone the green down.
