Is the flash on the GII an automatic pop-up one, or do you have to

pop it up in order for it to fire? This is also known as 3000V which

Canon site says is automatic pop-up, but can't find any info on the

U.S.? version which is GII. Put on Program, Automatic & even Portrait

modes, but flash will not pop up or fire. Bought used but only 4-1/2

months old (yes, you get what you pay for), but I don't know anything

about this camera at all being so new. Can anyone help with this

info? Thank you!!!

I know this was asked, but perhaps not in the right context. Bought

Elan II with broken film latch (the small latch that on the left that

latches onto the door to close it) that needs to be replaced. How

simple is this to repair, Where can I find directions on the repair

itself, how much does it usually cost for either Canon or a repair

shop to fix, & other than Canon, exactly where can I find the part?

Several questions, but wanted to make it more precise for answers.
