Very beautifully executed.
The only real questionnable issue is the size of that grey rectangle; it pushes the rest of the contant below the midline and it takes on a rather important emphasis for a simple design element.
(The edges are really distracting and annoying to me.)

This seemed to epitomize the Native American life in the US. A strong
adherence to traditional ways of construction and decoration
(materials and door decoration), an equally ardent patriotism to the
US and a spiritual component to their life (represented by the
reflection in the window)

IMO, although it is quite lovely as part of an album, there are a couple of things that could be improved on this shot.
There's a lot of sky - and it's sort of boring - and the horizon cuts the image right in half
The lower left margin is crowding her feet and cutting off her shadow.
Minor points.
There is a tilt to the horizon which disconcerts the eye.
If you are in US or Canada a 4 x 6 aspect ratio is much more expensive to frame and I think it is an awkward aspect ratio for a photo of a person.
It xould use a little vignetting to push the eye towards the center

what can I say, a blue plastic chair sitting in a blue wading pool.

sharp enough and reasonably well composed but the kerchief is much brighter than her face (which seems a bit low contrast and dark) and thus draws my eye.
