    I like the original version more than the cropped one. Original version tells a story and it takes me right there in the moment... Cropped version looks nice too, but to me, it appears staged shot. Thanx for sharing such a nice image with us.

    Thanks again for your comments, Yedhir. You would love medium format. Mamiya makes great lenses. I would advise you to get a good light meter. I use lightmeter extensively and almost always use a tripod. Do you have access to a darkroom? One of the problem i faced in medium format workflow was scanning the films. It is very expensive to drum scan your film, but I recently bought a used Nikon Coolscan 8000 film scanner, which is really excellent and results are close to drum scan. My advise would be to go out and shoot different types of films. I started with Black and White, and then used color negatives and slides. Fuji Velvia 50/100 are my favorites for landscapes. Please let me know if you have any specific questions!

    Yedhir, Thanks for your comments. There is no manipulation in this image at all. This is a long exposure at night time and that's how I saw the sea that night. That day, I starting shooting just after sunset, but I got my best shots at night time.
