Hi Wendy, wow, what a stunner this is, this shot is about as good as it gets. Congrats, great work. Your portfolio is out of this world.

Super work, the picture is amazing, the look on all three monkey is great. The lighting, colouring and sharpness are out of this world. Excellent work.

Very nice work William, the sharpness, and colours are excellent as is the dof. The dark bg make the engine jump out.

While I really like the overall shot, I don't like the way you have framed and or cropped the shot. I would have preferred the subject to be a little to the left or right and too bad about the oar in front of her, but otherwise an excellent shot, and well done.

Very nice Stefan, the crop is excellent and the effect and feelings in the shot are ones that a lot of us can relate to. It would have been nice to see a closer shot of the expression on the face, but then the overall shot would not be the same. Well done.

Excellent shot Vlad, Colours on the canyons look great, cropped just right, sharpness is super too. All in all just a wonderful photo.

Very nice pose by the model, but i think the lighting could be improved upon. It looks a little flat.

Quite stunning, colours and lighting contrasted against the dark sky make the shot. The curved fence makes an interesting focal point. Exposure is nice.

Just excellent in all regards, from lighting to composition. Congratulations Michael, a really fine piece of work. Not to reflect on your work at all, but I would have added a slight amount of body oil to the highlighted areas just to add more pop.

Hi Gail,
I'll give you my honest critique. The composition and crop are excellent. I think the clould detail with the sun streaming through is very good. The three things that need attention to are the exposure of the snow in the front foreground (almost looks like its approaching blown out/overexposed), the tint of the other snow (blueish) and the broken tree stump in the foreground left side (I find it distracting to the overall shot and would have removed or shortened it in photoshop). You mention you don't have any software for post processing. I am not sure if that's an old comment or you have some now, but all the aforementioned can be corrected with photoshop software and some experience using it, especially if you shoot in raw. I can't overemphasize the importance of the difference post processing does, I see it all the time in bird photos, and wonder how some people can get a shot to almost look like a painting (not that that's what you necessarily want), but so natural looking and beautiful while others oversharpen, over contrast etc (me included but I'm working on it, four years now). It's the experienced photoshop users that always produce the best shots in the final form. If you really want to get serious, you need to shoot in raw and pursue some good software for post processing and then take the time to learn how to use the tools it contains. Good luck. This is a great winter scene. The snow on the branches looks super. Good luck.

Very interesting perspective. Colours are nice, I would have preferred early morning lighting on this shot to make it even more magical. I am not sure what is directly above the foot bone, but i would have removed it out of the picture. Well done.

Very stunning and the contrasting bg is super. I like the crop. My only two cents worth is that the contrast/lighting is a tad harsh to me anyway, but an eye catching shot nonetheless.
