This is the three-year-old daughter of a friend who came for a visit. She was very
interesting and listened intensely to our conversation, I had to grab my camera and make
this photo.

Did he make any money??? Nice photo.

Q: What did one grasshopper say to the other grasshopper?
A: "If this guy crops out the background of this photo, I'm gonna make my cousin bite him!"
-
It reminds me of an old story: This guy comes up to an old man sitting next to a grasshopper. The guy asks, "Does your Grasshopper bite?" So the old man says, "No, he doesn't" Then the guy goes to pick up the grasshopper and the grasshopper bites him. So the guy says, "I thought you said your grasshopper doesn't bite!!" And the old man says, "That's not my grasshopper"

Your grasshopper is definitely better than my grasshopper. Do you have a longer lens than mine, or would that be getting too personal?? 7/7

Hi Kimberly, I liked your self portraits. Keep up the good work!

You've turned what could be a boring shot into a fantastic, moody photo! 7/7 Have one of those pints with my cheers! I like your Web site too!

I think this is a great photograph. I would love to hang it on my wall next to some other great art. The girl on the left is the focal point for the whole picture! Great job! 7/7

Great job Lorraine, I'll keep an eye out for your work!

Good show Linda, would have loved to see more rain hitting the water, but keep them coming!

August 3, 2004 No one seems to believe me when I tell this story because it seems so far-
fetched. But it's true. For the past 15 years, every August, a toad just like this one hangs
out a few feet from the door to my house. Naturally, it's not the same toad, but a
descendent of the original. I know this because sadly, it usually gets crushed by a car
coming into my driveway (not mine... really). It rained all day today, so I didn't get any
shots, but luckily, guess who came for his visit? I saw him and asked him to wait right
there while I ran to grab my camera. When I came out, he was sitting like this on a log on
the other side of the driveway. I had some great head-on shots, but the front of his face
came out a bit blurry. This is indeed the 15th generation of my Toad-in-residence. Believe
it, or not.

Hey Bill, I know a lot of people hate this woman, but this is a great shot. I did a piece of art that featured Peter Fonda for a motorcycle rally and there were a lot of men who hated him because of Jane. It's a shame that some folk would prejudge the art based on the content.

Thanks Bill. I hope evryone on photo.net gets to see and appreciate your wonderful street shots which span the mid sixties to present day--an excellent portfolio. Love the photo of Jane Fonda!

Your critque is appreciated.

Thanks so much for your critique Rune. It's refreshing to have someone take the time and actually write a bit. This was shot exactly where I found him. The link to the second photo shows his size a lot better.
