    Extraordinary photography.

The smile and look of the baby touch the heart of the beholder. The camera, at the same level of the baby face, contributes to integrate us into the intimate world of the child.

    The composition is perfectly balanced.

    Well done, Catherine!

  1. Not everybody is able to shot water with the correct speed in situations like this one. Lot of them use less than 1/20 in the believing of record beautiful running water with the result of a nice river of "milk". Congratulation Larry, you did it like it has to be done.

The balance of the picture divided in two by the oblique line made it pleasant to the sight. The main figure situated in one of the three thirds complete this poweful picture. Well done!

  2. This is a magnificent Nature capture.

I don't agree at all with Mr. N. S. Nguyen. This super Nature capture of the heron is one of the best I ever show. And I show millions of them.

Jennifer is so modest when she says that has a lot to learn. With her also modest 70-210 (I show the EXIF) se got a crispy picture. By the contrary, I can not say the same from Mr. S. N. N. ' birds pictures. Maybe he forgot to use a steady tripod with those impresive 400-500 lenses that he has.

Mrs. Hibbert suggests using fill in flash. I suggest NEVER use flash with animals. It is terrible for their sight. Some, so called, nature photographers, would take lessons from real naturalists before let the city back.

I quite agree with Mr. J. Harrington. He got the idea.

Cheer up, Jenny! you are the best one.

  3. Paul, it’s a pleasure to let the eyes wander along this outstanding picture of the “little private eye”. Since I saw this in the NW forum I decide to do a comment about. Hope you don’t mind.

The diagonal cutting in two symmetric parts the photograph, spread the weight comfortably to the sight, helped, at the same time, by the intersection with one of the golden points (the most important in the context) the magnifying glass. All of this is supplemented with the pleasant combination of two complementary colours: blue and red. Very good!

PS. This good picture couldn’t be as magnificent as it is, without the beautiful angel’s collaboration 

Wow! This one takes me back to my childhood. The doggy gives a touch of complicity with the farm worker and show the ancient need of human been with domestic animals.

    Perfect composition.

    Maravillosa, como siempre, Eva.

I didn’t see this sculpture in front of the Coliseo the last time I lived in Rome (1968). Everything changes, even the Città Eterna. Hope the pyramid continues in front of the Romanic circus :-)

This shot shows how a wide-angle lens has to be used. Very good indeed!

    Motherhood

The balance between lights and shadows is perfect. The radiant mother’s face, with the happiness by the baby to come, fills with colour this b & w picture. Just great!
