I'm interested to hear your opinion of this photograph of an

architecturally challenging building. What mood or feeling does this

picture convey to you? Thanks for taking the time to look.

Not exactly nature because this was taken in The National Zoo, I

decided that it's closer to portraiture than any other catagory,

except maybe children. I'd appreciate any suggestions for improving

this kind of photo in the future. Thanks for looking.

I shot this sleeping duck at the Philadelphia Zoo with a Nikon D50

and 18-200VR lens. The feather patterns, the blocks of color, and

the contrast are what I like about this photo. The angle is dictated

by the zoo's lay out. How could I improve this shot?

D50w/18-200 VR, 95mm, 1/640, f11, e.comp. 0.7, ISO400, WB direct

sun, sharpened and black point set in PSCS2.
