I just got my C-8080 a few weeks ago and I love it; image quality is mind-blowing. Yes, I have to agree with you guys that the zoom button is a negative, but compared to the other 8MP cameras: Canon, Sony, Minolta and Nikon - none of these gives me the quality of the image that C-8080 does and also I think Olympus has the best camera body. I was shopping for about a month and Olympus was the best compromise for me. I was surprised that people would choose A2 over C-8080. Yes, A2 has zoom ring, wide range of controls, anti-shock mechanism, but it makes the worst images among all 8MP cameras. Their lens is just too old for large 8MP sensor, whereas, Olympus made a brand new lens just for that specific camera. And did it paid off? I'm very happy with my new toy.
