I've known that I am an INTJ for a couple years. I got really interested in this stuff a while back.

I have used both the Canon 10-22 and the Tokina 12-24. The Canon lens belongs to my employer; and while I must say it is a fine lens, the Tokina is just as good "in the field". Combine that and the fact that is so much cheaper, and you have clear winner in my book. Although I've never used the Sigma, I didn't consider it as an option when purchasing because its barrel distortion was just to much for my taste. My Tokina is almost a year and a half old now, and it has rarely came off my camera.

I've had bad luck with Sigmas in the past. I have the Tokina 12-24 and I have fell in love with this lens; It almost never leaves the camera anymore. It blows Canon's 10-22 out of the water on distortion and vignetting although I think the Canon is a little sharper. I don't think you would be disappointed with the 12-24.

Out of all the the people on photo.net, I've learned the most from Mary Ball.
What kind of paint do they use on there lenses and bodies?
