I was backpacking in Hell's Canyon this week and found this old

tractor sitting out there, I thought it would make an interesting

photo, I hope you agree! Please comment whether good or bad:)

I really like how you can see the dirt on his hands, but he looks so happy, as if being poor doesn't matter, and he has figured out what really matters, but then again when I look at it, I think maybe he is doing a "please don't shoot" smile with hands raised to show his innocence...either way it looks great, and I like how you separated him from the background with you shallow DOF. I always wonder when I see these type of photographs how you get the homeless people to let you photograph them, do you pay them, or just ask?

Very dramatic, I love the angles of her arms and the one eye! I always wonder when I see these photos how you get the foreground and background pitch black...I wish it was a little larger so I could see more of the detail, but great job!

I'm just getting back onto the board after some time off, tell me

what you like or don't like, I value everyone's opinion. If you

rate low please give me a reason so I can become better as a

photographer, because after all, isn't that why most of us are here?

  1. The look on the model's face along with the hand in the hair! I think that the hand on the hip may have been more powerful if placed somewhere else, for me it doesn't fit the rest of the mood. Nice lighting also!

Hey guys, this is my first try at putting multiple pictures into

one. I hope you like it. Let me know what you would have done

    differently! Thanks

I took my fiance's puppy to the sand dunes for some exercise running

up and down the dunes. He decided he likes to eat sand, and I caught

this image of him looking guilty that I caught him eating it. Let

me know what you guys think.

I appreciate your help in trying to become better at photography,

what do you think I could have done better and what should I keep?

    Thanks!

This is from my 3rd official outting trying to take pictures since I

started in photography (about 4 weeks ago). I have been trying to

make my pictures better by taking the critiques I have received and

applying them during my next outing. Thanks again for all the help!!
