  1. I was there about a month ago with a canon SLR, zoom lens, etc. I didn't have any problems. I just paid the entrance fee and was on my way. I believe the fee is just for people who are hiring pro photographers for wedding pics/parties/etc.
  2. 1. open the lens

    2. press the down arrow on the camera back

    3. press the down arrow repeatedly until the "movie camera" mark is displayed on the monitor

    4. position the subject in the picture frame, then press the shutter button all the way down

hope this helps, i took it word for word from my old manual

  3. well, i broke down and decided to get the 7NE because I figured that this camera might never need to be replaced depending on my commitment to photography. I also picked up the 50mm 1.8 II, and the 28-105mm 3.5-4.5 USM lenses. These should hopefully give me enough to learn on, I'm looking forward to my new hobby. Thanks for all your help and advice.
  4. I've never had a SLR camera before but I've always wanted one. I was

looking at 'kits' on ebay, but after using this site for research,

I've determined that the lenses that come with the kits are more or

    less a waste.

I would really like the 7NE, but I realize that for about half the

price I could pick up the Rebel Ti. Also, I don't know if I'm just

drawn to it, because it's newer/more expensive/seems to have a lot of

features I know nothing about but willing to learn. I'm wondering if

you all have any opinions on which would be the better option. I

don't know much about photography at all, but I'm looking to start it

as a hobby. It's always intrigued me.

Any other recommendations on other bodies would also be helpful and

    appreciative. Thanks.
