I do like it cropped better. And Especially the version you submitted...does bring it out better. I am having a problem with the quality of all my photos when I resize them down to put on here. They tend to break up and not show the true picture. I've seen the larger photos submitted for critiques and tend to pass them because of waiting or having to scroll the size. However..I don't understand why I am getting so much grain and distortion when I resize to a smaller size.

Photo was taken through NVG (pvs-14) in Iraq as a platoon are moving through on patrol. This is a dam they are crossing with the village seen to the front left.
