Monte,
No, I'm not calibrated. I've since learned from a discussion forum, that my monitor is casting yellow / green tints. Gonna have to get a calibration system I guess, or continue with the 3/3's I generally get. Thanks for the "Bird" information - she now wants to visit! ha ha... Thanks again for everything you've offered! Tony

Your forgot an adjective in your title, "elegant."
Both your representation of your art, and your model deserve it.
"Simple Yet Elegant Portrait".

Thanks Monte, on my screen I don't see that. Perhaps I need to calibrate my monitor. Thanks for letting me know! Tony

Steven,
Thanks for the comment and guidence. She always smiles easily, she's a hoot and always kidding around, and yes, we could have gotten a bigger smile from him, but I was just happy to get him in the chair! I think in future pictures with him he'll trust me more. Thanks again, Tony

Gerry,
Thanks for the thoughts. All exceptional. Yes, her underneath was red, but a little shy for taking off the coat. Agree (hinde site) I should have had a back light it would have helped. I'm lucky to have got the "gent" in the picture, he usually doesn't care for his pictures, however this one (post productions) he was pleased with. I think I'll get all of his pictures now. (=
Thanks again for your detailed comments they DO help!

Nina, I think it's a nice shot, curious to know if you used a reflector or not. I think maybe not. Had you a third person with a reflector to bounce light back to her shadowed face it may have turned out even nicer. IMHO. Still it's lovely.

I almost past this one up, but there was something drawing me in. It wasn't until I saw it in it's largest view did I really appriciate it. Love the detail in her eyes and hair, and the background compliments her dress and the image's over all tone. She looks lively and fun. I think it's a really good shot. Congrats! Tony

Susan, very nice image. At first I thought you might crop off some of the top because the picture looked really unbalanced (a lot) - but I screen shot it and played with crops, I think it looks better as is. Really pretty. Congrats.
