I realise the focus is a tad short but I thought I'd run with it anyway.

It was tough conditions. Poorly lit, high speed movements from the boxers, and a manual focus lens on a D200.

That is an interesting suggestion you make with the crop. You might actually be right. I always find it a tough decision with cropping.

I would have to say that this is at best average. Knowing how much places like this are teeming with life I feel that are many finer images to be had.

They are dancers waiting to go on stage. The lighting is from the stage. This was shot outdoors in the Philippines.

I would echo Dougs comments regarding the lack of connction between the baby and its surroundings. It rather looks like its just been plonked down there on the rocks to look cute. And cute it looks but nothing more, not for me atleast.
