and btw, camera remote pro is by Nikon, not third party brand.
-
i set mine to ptp mode instead of the Mass Storage, and it still doesnt work.....
-
i got the software, but everytime i connect the camera to the laptop, straight
connection, the software says it cannot find a camera, i know the nikon website
doesnt include the d40 for the software requirement, but have anybody tried to
work it out ?
-
thnx for the answer, that'll save me quite a bit of money, btw, does dimage a1 have raw + jpeg? cause i cant seem to find it anywhere...
-
i have minolta dimage a1, and i need a fast CF card for the burst
shots, the one's im using right now are quite slow, not sure the
speed b/c it doesnt say, it's just sandisk 256mb. im looking for a
1gb cf card from lexar or Sandisk, what speed is enough for my
camera?
-
i wouldnt suggest iso 200, that'll be too noisy for such long exposure, use iso100, try the widest aperture, f/2.8, and put your lens to the widest angle, and do as many exposures as you can, and save them as jpeg fine, it will yield a better resoultion, whenever ur taking pictures that are really neat, use the highest resolution, cause u dont know when u'll want to enlarge a print on it. put your cam on a tripod, and patience is the key. good luck

sorry, the email is cao_tuo@yahoo.ca, not .com

i've lost my cd for dimage viewer, does anybody know where i can
download one ? or does anyone have one that can send to my yahoo
mailbox? cao_tuo@yahoo.com

i think in one of those digicam review sites they have a photo view of the difference, either www.dcresource.com, or www.dpreview.com, or www.steves-digicams.com, i forgot which, but one of them has it.
-
but it's discontinued model, kinda hard to buy one first hand....
-
but the olympus one is kinda big, i need a compact one that can fit into a pocket or purse
-
is there a compact digital camera that has a wide angle lens? im
really desperately searching for one cause my cousin really wants
one, anybody got any ideas?
-
i have heard the news that the a80 has been discontinued, and rumours say that it has been replaced by the a85 or the soon a90,
-
i have heard that the sony digicams can see through clothes in
daylight and nighttime with the IR feature, im just wondering if it's
true, has anybody used that camera with that feature? should i
questions ppl with those camera's pointing at other people?
-
thnx, that's what i guessed too
-
i just got this camera, and it seems to have a hard time figuring
out which part to focus in a distant shot in room light. for
example, im sitting about 2m from my friend, i take a picture of
him, he is not in focus, but the bookshelf behind him is, is there a
technique that can fix this ?
-
i've seen this camera in Henry's, not physically, but on the
website, but i cant seem to find a review for this site anywhere,
wondering if it has a different name or just discontinued.
-
shutter speed below 1/60 of a second?
-
my friend had the same problem with his kodak camera, the problem was that the aperture refuses the open. his solution was accidental, not sure if it will work on yours. he released the battery for a while, then after a day or two, he puts them back in, and the aperture opens up. try it
-
i think u have to buy infolithium type batteries, if it doesnt mention that word, then i don't believe that it will display the time remaining.
-
when the lens is that small, the brand doesnt really make much of a difference. it's only consumer level digicam, not professional, so i would suggest that if you want the resolution, then go for the HP. if you want the name, then go for Nikon.
-
hp actually makes pretty decent digital cameras, and at consumer level, nikon and hp doesnt really make much of a big difference, so i guess the game of megapixel does take into consideration here.
-
my minolta a1 sometimes hangs when the battery compartment gets too hot, maybe that's an issue that these digicams should really face...
-
ya that's what they claim, the actual shutter lag is much greater, i just simply dont trust a brand casio who makes entry level cameras can beat nikon and minolta in this field, i mean c'mon, who's the grandpa in the business, casio or nikon?
is the nikon d40 compatible with camera remote pro?
