<p>I am in the process of learning to become a photographer. I have a pentax k10D and wondered if I should upgrade to a K3 or wait. I have had the K10D for 5 years (yes I am a slow learner). Just hope to get some thoughts. Thanks</p>

Thanks for the help. I did not realize what I had and I was thinking of a zoom as a final addtion. Great idea. No idea

yet where to shop but at least now I have a direction.

I have two pentax lenses the SMC Pentax-M 1:2 50mm and the SMC Pentax -M Macro 1:4 100 mm. I wondered if

they were good lenses and made it worthwhile to buy the Pentax K200D body. Any thoughts or ideas would be

appreciated. The other option is to start over again. But if these lenses are good I would rather start here.

Cristos I agree with you completely. I really don't like it when I receive a 1/1 or 2/2 and have no reason why the photo received such a rating. This is especially true when the photo also gets 6s and 7s. So what can be done? My guess is nothing. We are stuck with a system where we try to get information and sometimes we are lucky and most of the time we are not. But at least those little comments that do come in help. So I continue to post and just realize that if someone give me a 1 or 2 and says nothing helpful then they are rude and ignorant and I just don't pay attention. And yes I do feel better now! :)
