  1. The lower picture has less distortion despite of the, apparently, wider angle. I also prefer it in terms of colour. Aesthetically, however, it all depends on what you want to express: the lower picture definately suits better real-estate purposes for selling the property. Sould the subject be different, the distortion of the upper lens may create interesting dramatic effects. Two lenses are always better than any one alone.

  2. Pnina, well spotted! Areopolis belongs to the same Prefecture with Monemvassia..., and yes it is me! it is true that I have almost abandoned PN. I join from time to time but I post no comments or photographs. I have been much more active on a site specialising in photographs from greece and in my YouTube channel. Daily Photograph transmitted to me the disease of 3D photography (if you can cross your eyes see Various 3D photographs or 3D seascapes from Milos) and I was also given the challenge to do a calendar and a video at work; see the funniest left-overs:  from the calendar  and from the video. There was practically no time left for PN. However, knowing that my subscription will soon expire, I came back to see what is happening. I saw you are still active and I got excited. Maybe I will be back. Thank you visiting. Best regards.

Thank you for your comment. I played with the levels so that the picture will look as extremely overexposed (it actually wasn't so) and I applied multiple noise reduction. My problem was a heavy dark blured fence in the foreground which I wanted to eliminate - you can still see a gray spot at the center of the image. While playing, I found this result interesting. I also regret the missing detail at the top.

yes! I don't know if it is the best solution, but it is certainly better than mine. I noticed that the black corner is distructing when I uploaded the picture, but I still like the statue on the left and would try to keep it in the frame somehow. Thank you very much for your suggestion.
