beuatiful scence with vivid color nice photo
-
looks like it should be in a field quide. Nice photo
-
title four legged tree?

Nice composition have you used some sort of mopsaic overlay or is this blown up from a small crop
-
looks like exposure was a little hot Did you compensate or shot raw to bring back some detail in the feathers of the geese
-
Need to use a better masking technique . too many artifacts in the hair. Also lighting is a little hot on the left cheek perhaps a soft box or fill light should have been used. crop is a little tight the top of the head is missing. Nice smile cut kid but poor execution in presentation 3/4

I would present this image in black and white As is the color seems flat

How has a lot to do with photo technique and a lot to do with people skill. the photo technique is fairly easy se the camera to the proper exposure and wait for the moment. This case if my memory serves me well the exposure was around 12/f8 with iso 100. the lens was a 50 mm . Post processing included a crop to 4/5 format and conversion to BW by Calculations on the Red and green channels. the people skills are much harder to relate. My wife and i spent a couple of hours in this wood carvers shop and spent a good deal of time speaking with the gentlemen. His character shows well in this photo.

not very interesting and badly composed. Is this meant to be part of a street portfolio if not just a BW snapshot 3/3
-
Thanks for your commen ton this one. Th echurch is close to my parents house but a three hour drive from home . Perhaps I will play a little PS magic to get the desired result. Digital makes that type of coreection a little easier than the drive and dependency on the east texas weather. I will repost this as you suggested. Please note I chimped the capture iand reset the exposure to avoid loss of highlight detail perhaps the as shot captue is a little flat as a result.
