One of those types of images that just burns in your memory for years to come. Very powerful. I liked how you chose to capture the photo of him "smiling" - adds a human nature to this other inhuman tragedy. many respects.

Nicely done Roland. Just enough reflection to hint at the fact that they are in a bottle but not too much to distract. You got the exposure nicely too and choice of BW is very appropriate as it gets straight to the subject matter. I don't know where the other guy was coming from with the 'art band cover" thing.

I really like the simplicity and the umbrella pattern really makes this picture great! maybe a tad over exposed (little detail in her coat). Your whole folder is great. Well Done. -
I like this photo for its "otherness" qualities. very suggestive without giving too much away. Was this a setup? IMHO, I think maybe you not have cropped it so tight - maybe about 1-2 metres back so that the sea gives it more volume. regardless, well done! -
