Portable storage in The Digital Darkroom: Process, Technique & Printing Posted May 6, 2005 The question of portable storage is still unsolved. I saw several other questions posted on the same topic, but I am particularly interested in units such as Apple Ipod photo (60GB) and Creative Zen Xtra (60GB). These storage units are typically marketted as mp3 players. They are very efficient players, ie have low power consumption. I think in IPod Photo case, there are also claims that it can directly transfer images from digicams via the USB port. I am curious whether anybody used Ipod Photo or Zen Xtra as a portable photo storage unit to directly upload images from their digicams?
