yes i see what you mean with the edited photo, i dont know photoshop that well, just use it for cropping and a little unsharp mask, this shot was taken through my kitchen window which always seems to give it a bit of a haze, i will try your tips on some other photo's.

its actually an osteospermum comon name cape daisy, rain daisy, and it is beautifull i have these in my garden look at my profile you will see lots of photo's.

the reason the petals are like that is its not fully open yet, but i have found some open up and some stay like this, its well taken i actually like the natural background as you will see none of my flowers are in a studio they are all in my garden as nature intended, and when these are opening i tend to watch and take phot's at different stages so well done lovely photo.
