1. Whatever side you choose, it's all about faith.
Either in a God no one here had ever seen either in a science that no one here can understand.
Moreover can you imagine that most people living here on earth believe in gods with elephant heads and countless arms who rule the universe by dancing? And that their beliefs are as valid as any other one?

  2. Actually I already found one photographer doing nearly the same thing as me except his models are mostly unclothed. So you cannot really say we do the same... But that's not the question ;)

As for my work, it's my elders felow photographers who told me in all you do your party, nightclub photos are the most unique.

    Very funny TShirt story :D

  3. I didn't said I do good or bad original stuff. It's just originality perception of photo.net that had changed. Is it good or bad? I dont know. Anyway I don't rely anymore on photo.net to judge my own work it was very usefull some monthes ago but nomore for that purpose.

You can compare my portfolio here and my portfolio on my website to see how differently I judge my own work. There are 3 pages, one for live performances, one for parties and one for studio portraits.

  4. It's a "steal" protection, annoying for sure. But I got so few feedback from people on the photos. I guess for them the little sized pictures are enough. They download them and that's all folks, no thank you no prints sales. I will see if this trend will change. If so I will keep this feature if not I will loose it.

Thank you Eric for your feedback on that point.
5. To Phong Kim

Why do you think a bad photographer opinion is meaningless?

I for instance never danced, never paint, directed a movie and so on though I had many opinions about many dance perfomances, painting and movies ;-)

Or strech this idea even further I'm not really handsome but... my opinion about beautiful women is as valid as the one of any other man ;-)

To Amy: maybe you consider the quality of the subject of a photograph rather than the photograph. Anf when many people rates a photo the subject becomes less important than the photograph

  6. No need to be sorry Paul, thank you for your input.

I just compared size of this smugmug event website - same category than mine - http://obamaforillinois.smugmug.com/ and mine http://www.mondiani.com/
smugmug entry page weight 587k and mine 150k which is still heavy but 4 times less 4 times quicker than smugmug.

Moreover it lacks custom features I need. And it's way too expensive

As for smugmug looking better - I don't think so tough I have seen only 2 of them right now and a few more monthes ago.

But right I feel the need to improve mine... especially the entry page. I have a few new ideas since the time I post this message.
