<p>I just had the same thing happen to me today with my Canon 60D that I purchased in January this year. I tried everything suggested in here, and was not as fortunate. I called Canon, and it was a quick and painless call, and my body was still under warranty. But I am still out my camera for a couple of weeks as it's on it's way back to New Jersey repair center.<br>
I have a 40D for photo backup, but I've been doing all my video productions with the 60D. Going to have to get another one for backup I can see.</p>
