Great photo! I like the way the clouds hover over the Albuquerque from this vantage point. It's great to see others' views of the Sandias!

I don't think its the grass so much as it is the contrast. The steep curve makes the grass stand out to the point of being distracting. The dark part of the water is totally lost while waterfall and clothing are extremely bright. If this was made with B&W film, I'd say it was overdeveloped.

 

I like the concept and hope to see more work.

The wood and windmill work very well with the grain. I wouldn't change a thing!

The movement in the water and clouds along with the light falling on the rocks are all perfect. Excellent work!

I find the parking lot light (bottom left) distracting.

6/7: I think this composition is excellent. The ground textures and cloud definition would have been lost or easily overlooked if shot in color.

 

There are a couple of places where it looks like the film came close to burning out (base of the tree, ground behind the tree to the left). Perhaps that information was simply lost in A-to-D conversion. Was this image scanned from negative or print?

There are some interesting clouds barely visible. I'd consider burning them in a bit to bring them out.

It's a great composition! Unfortunately, it looks like your auto focus system decided the hair was the interesting feature of the scene. I would have liked to see the face in better focus than it is here.
