  1. I am more into nature photography and shooting airplanes is quite unusual for me. And just

found out it's so much fun!!

I took this one last Sunday at the "Fundación Infante de Orleáns" (http://www.fio.es/) during

    their monthly air show.

I cropped a little bit the bottom part of the picture to center the composition.

Hey!!! I know this one!!! As I told you in FN, I love the effect of the envolving light, it is a very original way to photograph a spider.

    Congratulations. Adolfo.

Thanks for your comment Leroy. What's on the background is a snowed pine forest placed on the side of a ridge about 300m away. The day was cloudy and the light reflected on the snow on the grownd gave the bird a funny lightning. The perch was settled intentionally, close to the feeder I used to attract the birds, that's how i got the clean background.

Congratulations on your gallery, the herons are most impressive.

    Best regards.

This photograph was taken last March, up in the range on the north side of Madrid region.

The feeder was intended to attract small birds but a couple of woodpeckers became very

    usual customers.

    Critiques and thoughts are welcome.

  2. Critiques always welcome. I adjusted level selecting different zones of the photo... not very

    used to this technique...

IF ANYONE KNOWS what model is this Cadillac, the info will be highly appreciated.

The photo was taken on a rainy morning in Brussels, during a vintage car rally.

    Thanks for your time.

  3. awsome shot!! I knew your photos from your Fotonatura gallery but your portfolio in photo.net is just amazing...

Estupenda foto Daniel, ya conocí¡ tus fotos por Fotonatura pero tu galerí¡ en Photo.net es simplemente increible.

Thanks for the explanation. It is just amazing how confident can be some animals in the "new world"... makes me feel so envious... I wouldn't be able to get less than 3m closer to their spanish cousins here!!

Great job, i really like your birds folder.

David, great capture in al senses...

just one question: how did you get do close to the bird!!?? I can see you used a 100mm macro lens... did you use a remote control on a feeder?

I don't like very much the setting of the scenario, the pose of the model and his expression.

But honestly, I don't understand what is the problem with showing male genitalia in photographs. I have no problem with female genitalia being shown in pictures either...

    Ready for the shot !

Maybe not exotic for you... We don't get to see this species where I live (Spain), so for me this bird pretty exotic: the point of view means everything...

I also like the empty space, in my humble opinion, the unbalanced composition over the uniform background works really well here.

Radim, I like this shot a lot. It is different from what most of us do: trying to get as close as possible. I like it as it is well integrated in its environment, and shows a more interesting composition with empty spaces.
