I am also considering buying a digital slr for experiencing the new learning curve. Would anyone consider the Fuji S2 pro? I know the s3 is now on the market, but I would rather stay in the s2 price range. And also, considering I'm a little above an amateur, do I really need that expensive camera or would the Nikon D70 be efficient for the moment?

MPIX is great (Kodak Endura), www.whcc.com (Fuji Prof. paper) and Apollo Photo Imagizing (Kodak Endura) although they ship via UPS ground and I've had several 16x20's damaged. Not their fault, but added delay. All three companies are very compatible in price, service and quality of work.

I am a "amateur" photographer about to shoot a friend's wedding. Her

preacher will not allow any type of flash to go off during the

ceremony. I plan on positioning a tripod ahead of the service (slow

shutter - how slow is slow?), using a 1600 ISO (Fuji or Kodak?) and

hopefully there will be enough candles lit during the ceremony. Any

hints or suggestions will be gladly received.
