Astronomy Domain (Solar Eclipse, 2003) in Space 10 Posted October 23, 2005 Together with my son I covered the Solar Eclipse May 31, 2003, using 3 cameras shooting in UV, IR, and visible light, all equipped with various mirror lenses. We shot about 600 images during the first half of the Eclipse before clouds impacted the event. Three out of these images, all from the visible band camera, had strange reflection patterns to them, such as shown here. I have lifted the shadow area ever so slightly to better show the detail, but otherwise the photo is as captured by the camera.
