  1. The centering of the tree was intentional. I was attempting to mimick my previous photo of the same tree taken with a point and shoot. I did take a couple of shots with the tree off-center.

I didn't like them as much. I will post one of them later this week with the power lines removed. Or maybe just crop this one...

  2. Here's my follow up to this tree shot last year. Let me know your

thoughts. I just saturated the colors, not enhanced like the other

one of these. The detail in the branches is much sharper than a

    photo this size will show.

    Horse feeding

This is one of a pair of horses near my house that I try to catch in

the field grazing. They tend to stay in the shade. Their dark color

makes it challenging to get enough detail in the shade. Let me know

if you think I captured the detail.

  3. I originally took this to show the flowers in the foreground. I took

several shots with different subjects focused. Stopping the exposure

down in Photoshop and saturating the color produced this result. I

also cropped the original image to get rid of some of the clutter on

the left and alot of black space at the bottom. Let me know your

    thoughts.

    colosseo

This was taken in Rome last November. The catwalk was blocked off

from pedestrians, which allowed a view rarely seen these days.

Please let me know what you think.

    Tree at sunset

I took this earlier this year with a point and shoot. Stuck my amber

sunglasses in front of the lens for a warming filter effect, but

didn't like the outcome. So I modified the colors some in Photoshop.

Colors too saturated? Let me know your thoughts. Autumn is just

around the corner. I'll shoot it again with a DSLR and see how it

    turns out.

    Pollen Hunter

This didn't turn out as focused as I would have liked. I was having

trouble tracking the bee, as he was moving from flower to flower

fairly quickly. Let me know what you think.
