this shot reminds me of the character "Rae" from the movie "Black Snake Moan". i like how you've shown just enough to give us a hint of what the subject is/has been doing and how you've left it ambiguous as to where she's going and what she'll do now. holding the shoes rather than wearing them could give two possible indications- that she's "taking a break" from what she's been doing or that she's finished with it for good. well composed and technically executed.

as a horse and dog lover (and animals in general) i have also wondered what they're thinking when they get that faraway look in their eyes. this photograph captures that look of deep contemplation and thought that horses often have when they're completely relaxed or enjoying a beautiful day outside. this is an absolutely gorgeous photograph.

on a set of cables moving from one enclosure to another. his face is
