I would send mine to Tamarkin in NYC, but there are others who probably know of better places. I feel very comfertable when I am in their store. I'm sure they aren't the cheapest around. But for a few bucks more the peace of mind maybe worth it.

As said earlier at neat $3K for an MP, plus a significant price increase coming in June or
July, it will further reduce new sales, I don 't want to even bring up dollar/euro flux's, there
have been currency flux's for years with little effect on prices. The MP and M7 should be
in the $2200US price range.
As far as effects from used sales, it's very real, not only is the market flushed, but with
digital capturing the 35mm market, it's even causing more classic cameras to be offered
on the used market. Leica is not getting a significant amount of new users, the 30plus
age group which is where many new Leica users are born are tech savy and migrate
towards digital. So there is a shrinking user base.

I've heard of lens hunting problems with this lens compared to the Canon, has anyone
had this happen?

You see this channel is truly evil, I lurked and read messages and sometime ago I bought an M6, I began shooting again, it's more addicting then crack and about as expensive. Now I am saving for an MP. Guys you will all go to hell!

The first major player who is dying because of digital. Read into it and it says, we aren't making money, we are out before the bottom drops out.
Well maybe Polaroid was first first. But they aren't a major traditional film company.

I don't know maybe because I am used to slr focusing I have far less of a problem then with my M6. Especially in lower light or cluttered composures. It could be just a learning curve. In anycase if I shoot film, I use my M6.

Keep it up, all your snide pro al-quida propaganda will be dutifully noted and sent off to
Homeland Security. Dress for tropical weather, because there will be a 12x8 cage waiting
for you down in Guantanmo.
