I like the composition very much with the gap between the two buildings being compoensated by the positioning of the car. You are a keen observer.

Although a very simple composition I am blown by the symmetry in the picture- the two roundish hats and beard joined by the face; the upper part of the face and the roundish mouth (round coz of the moustache) joined by the nose. I rated it as 7 for aesthetics! Good work!

 

very original to have the fog and vegetation layered like this, and of course colours are particularly very nice!

whats inside?

the glow at the back of the cross adds a feeling of "halo" to the entire picture and makes it spiritual... serves the purpose of this pic. i also notice a light on the front on the red tile of the church... its as if the heavens have opened to bestow light on the church. the graininess gives a feeling of cloudiness to the entire frame... and the general of light in spite of the cloudiness gives this a distinct meaning. fantastic work!

Did you get inspired by the fact that the sunlight was concentrated on the left hand top corner and dimming towards the right, and in contrast the boats were getting bigger in size from the left hand top corner to the right. I dont know if that is what you intended, but it makes for an excellent compostn.

The particular thing that makes this one special IMHO is the way uniformness has been captured dramatically. The rays of the sun falling uniformly throughout gives a balance to the entire frame. I also like the bridge spreading uniformly from left to right. I was wondering how this would be if the bridge were parallel to the lower edge, but perhaps that might have made this a dull one.

composition wise could be improved by moving slightly towards the left and having the two smaller balloons in almost the same line towards right of the image.

is this a crop??? excellent image though. what lens did u use?
