Great shot Mike... Original, powerful and a lasting image.

I remember this shot. Nice to see it up here although I fancy it will not get the recognition it deserves... "Fantastic" from me

I couldn't give this the 6/7 I thought it deserved (photo.net limitation). Loved the title as it was similar to what I had in my mind when viewing this from the thumb. Great dynamism in this - fantastic lighting also.

Really like this. At first glance I found it deceiving - as if it was almost a photoshop creation... Closer inspection shows that to be clearly not the case. I like the title too. If the black pieces (on white squares) are numerous, then the white pieces on black squares are noticeable only by their absence... I guess consumerism won... Great shot 6/6

Love this Alec - didn't know you shot this - fantastic image. Wonderful use of lighting.

Fantastic - the first thing I thought of when i saw those trees were angel wings. As if they're springing to life from the man himself...

Hey Justin - I think it's great. Love the point of view and the lighting, particularly how it gleams off the skin, is great. Great leading lines in the image also as the eye naturally follows the path of the legs upwards into the image. I think the "faceless" crop is great - from my own experience I believe it's difficult to know exactly how much to crop the face. Remove too much and some identity is lost. Remove too little and it can be distracting. I think this achieves just about the perfect balance. Anyway, great shot - thoroughly enjoyed this.

I came here from a link... Great picture - deserves a much higher rating. Excellent expressions and atmosphere throughout this image.

I really like this shot. Agree completely that the boy on the right adds a touch of mystery. The two identical figures diving in are so dynamic and full of energy, and in such contrast to the boy. His pose and posture adds a lot to the scene as well - shoulders slumped, back rounded. For me this is a story of isolation. Excellent work 6/6
