    New 50mm Summicron LTM

    Dear all,

    I have seen the 50mm Summicron LTM together with one or two other LTM

    lenses, such as the 35mm Summicron asph in silver, in Hong Kong. I

    believe they are still available. Of the topic, I also came across a

    Canadian 90/f1.0 Leica M-Mount lens! It is a huge lens indeed!

    Contax RTSII vs Nikon FE2

    Hi,

    I'm thinking of switching to Contax. I'm currently using a Nikon FM2 body. I was considering up-grading it to a FE2, since it offers Aperature Priority Mode & AE Lock. The specs of FE2 actually looks very similar to the Contax RTSII, except FE2 has higher shutter speeds, i.e. 1/250s flash sync & 1/4000s top speed. What draws me to Contax is the quality of their Carl Zeiss lenses. My only hesitation on switching to Contax is the reliability of RTSII. I couldn't find anything relating to the reliability issues of Contax RTSII body on the net. Now Nikon bodies like FM2 and FE2 are famed for their reliability. Does anybody have any experience with Contax RTSII camera? I need some insight before I decide whether to switch or not. Thank you.
