Just some ideas, a straight horizon (& clouds) would improve the aesthetics. I also tried playing around with cropping in photoshop in order to make the tree less 'central' but decided to stop. I would most likely try and take it a little more off centre. Just my ideas though. Regards, Martin

Accident or not, it is great the way we are drawn to the focus of the camels eye. Of course, it helps if you've actually SEEn a camel in the first place (re the comment above) to help piece together the image. Otherwise I agree with your categorisation ... it IS humourous somehow.

I love this ... a picture with motion and very well exposed.

Very nice contrast of subjects ... thanks

Just some ideas ... I would not use this particular border since it complicates the picture interpretation and also forces a comparison to the left edge being out of vertical. I would also make more contrast or deepen the shadows. Lastly, time of day for the shoot would definitely assist in getting better results (e.g. without the difficult cross shadow). Alternatively, you could come in closer and crop to a section without shadow and hone up the details and contrast.

The sharp focus on her eyes really draws you into the subject matter.

You can FEEL the heat in the red glow at the bottom ... good composition the way you caught the smoke as well as flames and embers.

I would try a tighter crop around the sheep, while keeping a focal point on the back one staring at us. Also lower the exposure to improve contrast.

Striking clarity, well done.

Well framed. It works great with the out of focus background. Helps to add a 'situation' to the mans character.

You've really captured the moment. Lovely shot, well exposed and composed. Thanks.

I love this type of 'candid' shot. The workshop tells a hundred stories. I particularly like the high contrast you have chosen to pick out the varied colours.

Better straightened and cropped?

At first look I missed the near washed out water ... It would be a better shot with this cropped out in my opinion.

Natural lighting with my choice of crop - actually this was a wedding photo of a bride
